Each country and IBM division is working to different timetables. The UK round for GBS is still in progress and notifications are due in early July.

1rte. Does the redundancy only apply to the UK, or is it thru out Europe? Any idea of the impacted numbers

@1lsd UK redundancy evaluation is ongoing. We have different labour laws in Europe, you can watch the EU labour council for updates when IBM wants to initiate a redundancy action. We tend to know who’s affected further in advance and we are given far more time through the process.

Does that include Europe as not seen anything online?

There's one guy in our group is it out on medical leave and hasn't been officially informed yet, but I'd say outside of a situation like that everyone affected by this RA has been notified already.

Anyone at any company is fooling themselves to think of a layoff as part of a "round"/"wave". These are not normal times. It's not going to be a quarterly affair, it's ongoing. And no one is "safe".

Yes, this RA wave is complete. But it’s IBM!!! There could be additional after Q2 results, which we all know would be pretty bad( ibm +Covid19 )
