I don’t know how many people were affected but USCAN is experiencing layoffs. For anyone looking for a stable job, RUN RUN RUN. Don’t say you were not warned. This is terrible. I’m trying to hold on.

2021 will be a better year with big raises to all and no layoffs on the horizon
As a long-time North American GE employee, I can tell you this is what to expect from GE even in good times. The company is all about making numbers by pinching pennies and looking good instead of innovation and being good. Do yourself and your family a favor and work somewhere else. I'm at the end of my career, but my advice to young people is look elsewhere and don't waste your working career.
And go where? All HC industry is laying off and cutting back. May as well stay until the bitter end and hope for the best, or try another industry.
Florence location; 31 let go. Most hourly, a handful salary.
Many layoffs this is true. Odd that they are now hiring interns and asking for volunteers to assist in training them. Interns work free for now, paid little latter and never get a pension. Sad state of affairs for American work force.
Lot of advice on this site is to leave the company. Most i think are trying to reduce numbers so they have a better chance of not getting let go. Not a lot of jobs available so might as well stick around and see what happens.
What location, what positions? If you care please share.
