Healthcare lost many field engineers, administration and some even lost a days pay until things get better. The objective is lower higher pay personnel and replace with interns who eventually will be hired at lower wages. Eventually all benefits will get slashed and pension for all will be frozen. Sad that poor upper management destroyed our company. Sad too we were blinded with smoke and mirrors!

Can’t file bankruptcy when sitting on billions in cash. Dumb idea.
GE should file for bankruptcy, reorganize and have a new beginning on a clean slate. Right now it is like a elderly family member with terminal cancer.
Seen this before 2007/08. E and SPB bands were culled
Seems like an exaggeration. More likely they reduced salaries of a few upper level managers and let go a few lower level. Typically at GE the senior mgmt is last to go.
Several I work with have had hours and salaries cut. Some layoff. Extent not clear
