I feel like Encompass has a huge target on it's back. In both Transformative Growth announcements it is being merged. The technology was outdated in 1995. In the NatGen purchase announcement Allstate is clear that Encompass management is not leading the merger. How can the word Encompass not even be mentioned in the last three meetings? Allstate, you really don't have any updates at all regarding Encompass? Is this what it feels like to be ghosted?

Talent for Encompass management was usually people that were on the Allstate side that were failures or out of Tom Wilson’s favor. It is a place where the Managers are sent to die. The last decent President Encompass had was Doug Wendt. He soon discovered what a hopeless situation it was and moved on to become a president of some very successful divisions for AON. Allstate needs an enema and the first thing that would come out is Tom Wilson and Glenn Shapiro.
Encompass underwriting is still issuing new business at a normal rate. Can’t imagine why. I’m sure our days are numbered one the sale is final. The writing is on the wall.
I feel bad for my colleagues on the Encompass side. My advice would be to not take much PTO and don't spend heavily around the holidays based on the timelines. Do independent agents care about this stuff or do they still write business with Encompass after the announcement?
