so we had headhunters come into our store today telling us that Belk was “about to fall” and come work for their well known retail chain of stores. some employees are leaving, they told us we could interview tomorrow if we wanted and if we passed all qualifications start next week. They knew about all the problems belk was having and told us they were in deep trouble.

I wouldn’t give my information to anyone who says they are a representative from a company, any legitimate company would have online applications.
Fishy? Maybe. More like local store managers taking time during the day trying to recruit.
Retailers are not paying for recruiters for store sales.
