Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

The Market offices are having their job eliminations this week.

From what I gather, no option to fill another (lower) paying position or anything other than severance. Fresh Market Managers are gone and I'm sure there are others. Any word?

It's not even public in the news; talk about tight-lipped!

Just my opinion but when they changed the APM to APASM and put them under two supervisors (MAPM & SM) to me that was a way to slowly transition out the MAPM.

I hope they nuke the pharmacy market and regional managers. What a bunch of blow hard wastes of DNA.

Been saying for years, WM is way too top heavy with management.

Cornona's economic effects are interesting to watch as corp. America is realizing how much budget they can cut :)

@1sit When has respect for the individual been actually used at Walmart since Mr. Sam died?

Getting rid of all market, regional teams etc would be the best move Wally World could do. All they are good for is walking around disrespecting the management teams and associates in the stores. Respect for the individual is never practiced by these teams.
