Thanks for posting this as I’ve been checking constantly to see if Nordstrom ever filed a WARN with Washington State. What’s really weird about this are the dates. It says says the layoffs (permanent) began May 8, 2020 for 521 employees in Seattle with a received date of 7/17/2020. From what I understand is that Corp didn’t get laid off until mid-June. However the forced early retirements were in May. In addition, if you go to the WA WARN site the other employers received dates are BEFORE the lay-off dates. For example, Boeing gave a 60 day notice (by law). Did HR really screw this up that badly?!?
Is that a new one?
