Separation Plan” send on June 25th with my estimated amount but didn’t get the email yesterday.
What’s going on? Anyone else in the same boat?

The penalty for not giving 60 days is not ‘severance’. A WARN Act violation requires an employer to give ‘back pay’ and benefits for each day of violation up to the 60 days. We found out 6/25, that we were being let go 7/1; that’s only 6 days notice ... so a violation of 54 days.? I think I do feel lucky for my 1 week per full year (20+) of service severance. However, their offering of the insurance lump may be to avoid a violation? Regardless, there are exceptions to the notice requirement ... I think the current situation would probably qualify for two out of the three exceptions.
Read the Warn Act( it’s federal law),businesses with more than 100 employees must give each employee 60 days notice before laying off. Failure to do so will make severance pay mandatory under Federal Law. So Macy’s wasn’t being nice and we shouldn’t feel lucky, that Macy’s is a solid.

I had mine sent to an email l forgot I even had. It wasn't sent to the same one that was used 3 weeks ago. Check all your possible emails. I was on hold with HR for 2 hours.
Same here received the first email but no package signing papers has anyone had any luck as to why?

I don’t understand what’s so hard about sending an email. Thought it would be here by this morning but still, nothing. I also can’t get thru to HR for two hours now.
