Not sure why during these times a company would still allow itself to employ German employees with huge employer contributions to pay, huge wages, long notification periods, entitlement to more vacation days than elsewhere etc.. Don’t forget the beloved workmen council and labour laws that can put a hold on redundancies even when urgently needed. High investments made cannot be the only reason. Not fair on other hard working employees who have to leave instead...
Still, feels bad knowing they don’t want/need you but they can’t get rid of you. Another group will have to pay the price
