Frankly, doesn't seem possible to me...

I did get called back and kept my full time schedule and health benefits. I know I should feel fortunate but lost the little bit of bonus because of no annual reviews so actually making .25 less an hour. This classless act on the part of Macy’s exec’s is despicable and will only harm the already low morale and toxic environment in the stores. Shameful!
Some people that still have their jobs are happy because they are the favorites and have health insurance.
It absolutely will get worse. So disappointed that the execs took these bonuses. People are struggling. People have no jobs. This is extremely upsetting for all Macy’s employees who were saved and didn’t get raises and have no 401k match....and those still waiting on furlough and for their severance....what about them!? But let’s make sure the top execs get their bonuses? Who is on this board of directors? Obviously people who have never struggled or been jobless in their lives.
I’m sure we won’t get explanations for it but will be forced to do even more with even less.
Time for me to fly....this is like a bad relationship that we just keep coming back to. Enough is enough. There has to be something better out there.
Sadly, it can. And it will. There is no bottom anymore it seems. Loyalty (and doing exceptional work) don’t seem to matter. It’s...don’t let the door hit ya on the way out. And let us kick you while you’re down for good measure. I gave blood, sweat, and tears...and I mean that quite literally since I was a VM. I have no idea what I’m going to do now...I LOVED my job. But I definitely won’t miss the yearly uncertainty and the resulting stress that caused. That’s no way to live and Macy’s should be ashamed of how they’ve treated us. All of us. America’s department store? Ha...no
It’s not the same company no more. I don’t know anything else. Don’t know what to do?
Look face it Macy’s DOESN'T CARE ABOUT THIER EMPLOYEES! They ONLY care about bottom line.
Although, Macy's keeps surprising me in how low it can go, so you never know...
