I was such a proud Pepsi employee until recently. Doing 3 peoples jobs and the mentality is we should be lucky to have a job.

Ha ha ha. SAP is the pipe dream. When has PBNA ever delivered a large project that met expectations? It’s guaranteed employment until retirement for all involved. How’s that 2 year outsourcing project going. It’s only run over by 4 years ! Hilarious !

Yeah, with all the money that is going into getting PBNA into SAP, it's a nice delusional pipe dream you have. PBNA is the money maker, fall in line.

There is no money in sugar water any more and the plan always was to ditch the beverage side. Once IT is fully outsourced, the beverage cost burden will be cut loose.

Frito is getting a sore back from carrying you!

Food and snack carrying beverage? You sound like an id–t. Did you know a case of 20oz nets the company $25? What a dope.

I agree. The beverage side of the business is a money s—ing hole. They need to spin it off so us shareholders can keep on getting our dividends

PepsiCo needs to shed the soft drink end of the business by using franchises to sell product. Pepsi stock doing fine because of the food and snack portions. They are basically subsising beverage.

I am 63 and have over 35 years with pepsico. I would gladly take a fair severence pacjage if it would save someone younger position.

You ask us to speak up fearlessly and act like an owner, yet I am afraid to do so.

On Thursday, I have heard that many food service employees across the divisions were laid off in a so called restructuring. Some of these people were young, college educated, award winning employees ... some who have just started families.

In other words, the future of Pepsi.

Wouldn't it have made better sence to offer some of your long term employees a voluntery severence to retain your young talent

  • the future ?

New world. Your bosses are backstabbers who will cut you in a heartbeat to get ahead. Great work environment Pepsi. No wonder on the last org health the results were weak and most people are looking for new jobs v

It’s disgusting the company is using the COVID excuse for layoffs. This environment is temporary. I hate the bs jargon they use. Faster, better, stronger...what a joke.

I have heard of some reps that have just started a family and now losing there job. I volunteered to be let go and was turned down. Makes no sense. Keep the people that want to be here. Someone volunteers for severence.....give them a package and save someone else's job.

Definite foodservice layoffs happening. Some loyal, long term managers and reps out the door. Remember you’re a number. Loyalty is one way. Management is young, inexperienced and you’re given tools and resources that don’t work. You’re a disposable tool that is used to get as much work out of as cheaply as possible.

No longer an employee so the post on KT comments are helpful. If that's not a setup for more offshoring and layoffs I'm not sure what is. I'm glad I got my package a few years ago and actually left on my terms (already had another job lined up). Buckle up former colleagues

Kirks comment
"Going forward into the balance of the year, we know it will not be easy. We have to be willing to make critical, sometimes difficult and uncomfortable decisions - choices we know may be hard, but that will better prepare us for tomorrow."

42% drop in Profit for the quarter in Beverages. Given the competitive nature between PBNA and Frito it's not surprising they are doing this. They are slaves to the quarter and management wants to keep their jobs.

Not surprised based on Kirk’s letter after earnings were released....basically said “buckle up”!
