No one should be holding out to return to that place. The best course of action is to move on. The company has already stripped so much away from the ambassadors. Going back is like returning to an abusive relationship. If they thought you were of any actual value you would be back already. You would do well to move on and avoid patronizing their business while encouraging others to do the same.

What exactly are you folks going to unionize furloughed employees? How does that work?

Do whatever it takes to take care of you and your family. Apply for any state/local/federal assistance that is available.

With all that said.... please do not wait on SeaWorld to call you back. I think most of us will be furloughed for 12 months (max allowed?) then let go. They parks will not go back to "normal" for a long time. They are making smart business decisions to keep unneeded employees furloughed, but totally s— at their lack of consideration when it comes to communications with us.

Good luck buddy!

Most of HR has been replaced by a third party company, so very doubtful anyone from HR is posting on here. And what makes you think people aren't looking for work outside here?? People are dropping like flies putting in their notice or downright leaving after returning from furlough. Another furlough for everyone is on the horizon anyways.

I think HR or public relations is on this site. They are always telling us to go somewhere else. STOP STOP STOP. I have just as much a right to be there as you do. This has been my home for years and I want to be here. Why don't you move on?

You want a set schedule, be your own boss then. Lots of opportunities with Shipt, Instacart, Uber, Tackl. Or get an office jobs that has set working hours. A theme park is the last place to look for set hours.

Hope that things get better for you. But to be real your governor is a jerk. Florida has to stop screwing the tourists with all their bs taxes and fees. Also the working citizens should demand a state government that has a true unemployment system to help workers when tourists stop showing up in the state.
