If this senior leadership team is the “best of the best” that Allstate has to offer, Allstate is in serious trouble. This has been the perfect example of what NOT to do during a time of anxiety and stress to your customer facing employee base. Poorly planned and executed. Minimal communication and changing plans after already communicating to the entire employee base and setting their expectations of what was coming...If a front line employee performed their job like these highly paid clowns have done, they would be getting “coached.”
This should be used for business leadership candidates as as example of WHAT NOT TO DO...

As a senior leader I am truly mortified by the decision making the past few years. I have never witnessed such a detachment from our VP leadership and the product that we sell. Customer feedback and retention fall n deaf ears unfortunately.
Oh Lord! Those town halls! If I have to listen to another one of those God awful things... Listening to Tommy W. slur on after a morning full of bloody marys on the yacht droning on about how great that "Transformative Growth" BS is and his racist terms like "the blacks". Oy!

The condescending memos and town halls leave quite a bit to be desired. I continue to get bashed over the head with the term TRANSPARENCY. Does anyone feel that this is a transparent process? Maybe it’s just me but relying on an anonymous website for information is not transparent. Senior leadership is either incompetent or thinks we are a bunch of complete and utter mo–ns.
Has anyone ever noticed not one senior leader comes from a successful company like Geico, State Farm, Farmers or Progressive? They always hire B rated non successful sales execs from companies like liberty, nationwide or ford. These are the same leaders that further erode this company market share

These comments are a stain on the company reputation. Attorneys are watching as well. There's attorney's out there that are looking for ways to take a massive bite out of Allstate, always has been. Allstate have plenty of money to go after.
Agreed. Textbook of everything you’re not supposed to do. Extremely poorly handled. A joke, really. Plus, it's galling that those who know they are safe go on their jolly way, making small talk on team calls, while the rest of us feel a target burned into our back — waiting for that suspicious meeting request that’s sure to come any day now. The stress is making me crazy. Just get it done and stop the torture already.
I don't think those soul less pieces of sh*t care enough about anything to warrant reading this site. As long as they can drink themselves silly (Have you ever heard Tommy Boy slurring his way through a town hall? Yikes!) on their yachts lighting cigars with $100 bills all while ruining thousands of lives while making millions they could care less what any of us have to say. We are nothing but numbers and meat to them.

Tom Wilson and Glenn Shapiro have both made livings running companies into the ground the past and giving no f*cks all while making millions. There you have about $22 million annually of useless trash that is full on liability to the company that can be thrown in the dumpster. That is not even counting the hundreds of overpaid pompous egomaniac underlings that do their bidding down the chain. That is if we are being serious about cutting expenses.
