When the layoffs start, I'm assuming they'll be the first to go? I'm not trying to fearmonger or be cruel, I'm just thinking that those of us who are back should feel a little safer than those who are still sitting at home, right? Unless fewer people are still out than I think?

If you look at all the more stable companies that are laying people off, I think you’ll find your answer. Nobody is safe, especially not in a tourism driven business that is run the way Seaworld is.
Still on furlough while people who definitely were not as good were called back. Guessing having a more unique/title role has hurt me. Doesn't feel that I am needed for the company which is both sad and amusing after all the years.
Actually they have kept many people with long tenures and higher paid, and not brought back people who were recently promoted with lower pay. It doesn't make any sense how they are making these decisions.
I wish I was laid off so I can keep collecting unemployment and find a better job
Of course you're still furloughed. SEA isn't going to bring back someone with 25 years of park experience when they can bring back a lower wage employee back. Unfortunately, you are in the hot zone. Prepare for an extended furlough or being laid off. If you get to return - awesome!! If not, at least you were prepared
I am still furloughed (25 plus years of service)
No one is safe. Everyone is replaceable. Returned to work or furloughed.
Don’t be a fool... no one should feel safe with this company.
HR Tampa furloughed all expect 3, then brought 2 others back. Now they have replaced everyone that is currently furloughed and still posting jobs for that department.
Theres still plenty of people on furlough and they are already hiring to replace them. HR for example hired a new manager in June, yet there are 2 still on furlough.
