I don't intend to spend a dime at Macy's going forward.
Closing your account is worse on your credit rating than just letting it go inactive. I paid mine off during furlough and when I got laid off I cut it up. Bye Felicia!
Herein lies the problem ... Macys best customers are their own employees.

Closed the account the same day I was laid-off. It's useless without the additional employee discount.
