Is it home decoration or hardline stuf where you see the real demand? Are they both swamped.
I can share what's happening with mine, but I'm wondering if it's consistent across stores.
Anyone else seeing supply chain issues on appliances besides the one guy that keeps posting?
All of the stores(not just lowes) in my area are sold out on shovels and digging tools. People are burying their relatives and neighbors. The media is not covering it and youtube has pulled several videos.
A little bit of everything.
Appliance supply chain NOT looking good. Having more and more items having their ETA to the store being pushed back by the vendors. Some of them are SOS while others are "stock/SOE" items. ETAs of September and October are becoming more common. Suspect a lot of customers orders will be getting canceled. Really enjoy the total PITA it is to get an EPP/LPP refunded when customers are canceling orders placed over 30 days ago (which now have to be performed by Service Advantage after you endure their often horrific 30 minute plus hold times).
once enhanced unemployment sunsets at the end of july and all the stimulus used by businesses dries up....and the legislation phases out that allowed people to not pay student loans, mortgages etc. all the crazed buying will end.
better start researching those cargo ships that deliver product all over the globe....and what it means for the food supply chain with all these lockdowns and shutdowns.
about to be a very dark winter....
Millworks is almost empty. Windows and doors. Lumber and appliances are wiped out also
Freezers are back ordered but selling .
Specialist categories are still up but not as crazy as last couple months.
Inside and outside garden is really cranking almost as crazy as April and May.
Pro biz is also up, but not as crazy as before.
