I know this is the antithesis of a layoff, but what is the onboarding like during the pandemic? Is there an orientation?

T Mobile in my experience has little to no formal onboarding. With no one in office it is even worse. They are hiring but most proirity is going to Sprint employees at the moment
You Mentioned as long is it is not Home & Entertainment You’ll be fine....are you saying that group is the only one not adding headcount or that layoffs are around the bend ?
As long as it’s not Home & Entertainment, you’ll be fine. The HR business partner (ESP) is useless and this is her first real HR job. Don’t bother going to integrity line or ESP because they won’t do anything.
