My part time receiving position was eliminated recently. I was offered a flex position, and since it is a similar position, I didn't receive a buyout or severance offer. I now have no benefits and all my PTO was wiped away, not payed out. Any advice on what you would have done?

if your status changes from regular to flex, they will pay you out any PTO accrued.
You were lied to. Flex is not the same as part time bc U can't accrue PTO time as a flex associate. My store has tricked many part timets into believing flex was better. You should have been offered an opportunity to get a severance. Hopefully not too late.
b–tards!! They always lie by omission! Disgusting. I am so sorry!
Before you go screaming off into the night be sure to contact HR services. There may have been a mistake of some sort- as you can see by other posts there have been some odd happenings with personnel issues. This is common for such a large company taking the measures they have. Get the facts first then decide which direction to go.
As an RTM I was offered a severance, and one of my pt receiving peeps got a severance as well... you need to look into it and also collect unemployment.. best wishes to you and all that have been let go.. better days are ahead for us all!!

so unethical!
You most definitely should have been offered a severance!!! Call HR Services ASAP. Flex is not comparable to a part time incumbent position.
File a case with your state attorney generals office under labor lawYou have many rights
that you’re probably not aware of.
You should have been offered severance. Call HR Services. Tomorrow morning. If you can't get thru, open a case in AskHR.
