Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

XBS IT is on the clock

Don’t believe anything the Xerox team tells you. All liars starting with the top schmuck. You will soon be displaced by Wipro, HCL and the other ‘winners’ supposedly making Xerox the tech powerhouse JV seems to think it is.

One of our dispatchers was let go last week.
Now only one dispatcher who speaks English.

This is not a "baseless claim" as a previous poster commented. I've seen some of the planning, and none of it includes bringing back furloughed employees. There just isn't any business activity or print volume to support it in Europe or Americas. The only way they will be brought back is if the economy comes roaring back to where it was in 2019, which looks extremely doubtful at this point.

I concur with what OP stated, most furloughed not coming back, those remaining will be expected to work harder, anybody in a call center will be losing their job, they are all being automated to the point that the system will know what parts/toner/technician to send, if you're not a performing sales rep bye bye, they are in desperate mode to cut and save $$$$

Unless you have evidence to what your saying, this is just another baseless claim on this website. I would of been fired over a year ago if I was to believe half of the stuff I read on here.

We still have our Call Center and Dispatch team (though a few people were furloughed; are there any concrete updates on what we can expect?

If you are not physically selling or servicing, your job is ending and being outsourced. That’s the truth straight to the point.

Our call center was already outsourced to HCL. Do you mean dispatch for service?

It's part of the plan announced March 2019. There are several phases. Call centers are going to be outsourced this quarter, i.t. Is next.

Can you expand on this a little bit? I work for one of the cores that has an IT department. Are they going to be replaced/let go? Do you have a timeline or anything you can share? This is too generic of a message to be concerned about.
