On Monday June 29th several high tenured Coaches and Team Managers in the Springfield MO call center were invited to a conference call with site leadership to be told they were being let go. No explanation on how those chosen were determined, only that it was already determined that the ratio of Coaches to agents was to be changed from 10:1 to 12:1 and that it was happening much sooner than planned. It has been learned now that others who also had positions being terminated were given the option to move into positions others were just laid off from. How tacky. The impact on these families is unrecoverable. The severance doesn't even compare to the loss the individuals are facing. Many have spent 10-20 years dedicated to this company. In some cases half their lives, their entire career. This comes at a time when we are already in a state of National crisis. No one is hiring and likely will not be for quite some time. All to pad the bottom dollar. Covid19 is the perfect excuse. SHAME ON YOU T-MOBILE!

We have the highest unemployment rate since threw great recession right now. No one can find a decent job right now and when places do start ramping back up it will slow and reserved. How do they expect anyone to find work?? No one can tell me that a company as large as T-Mobile didn't have any other options. This was the ONLY option they considered. Cut out the highest paid lowest men on the totem pole because there is always someone younger willing to do the same job for half the money because they don't know what they are worth yet and by the time they do ther cycle repeats itself. Who cares about the ones let go that have bent over backwards to help get T-Mobile where it is today. Replaceable. So disgusting.
Shame on TMOBILE. It was us who put them in this position of market leadership. They showed their thanks alright. The merger going to bring jobs my foot.
