Does anyone have any insight as to what leader roles were brought back or offered in neighborhood doors besides the store manager? OVM, CEM, mBA, or captains?

Not sure with all the new titles, but my neighborhood stores brought back all the managers, except one that found a new job, and the one sales supervisor we had.
I made a trip to the store to spend the last of my Macy Money and the Men’s, Home and Children’s floor had two people, one manager and one associate. They are calling the AST from the office if they need help. No one for Furniture and Mattresses—they have to call a manager if a customer needs help.
On the Women’s floor, there were a manager, two people at the At Your Service desk, one person signing, one person for the entire cosmetics section, one person at Fine Jewelry, and one other associate on the floor. There were only a couple of customers, but they had still managed to trash Last Act.
No one was saying much, but it appears that all part timers were let go, and many of the full time people. They seem to have chosen to keep younger and newer sales associates over the older, experienced ones, but I don’t know that for sure.
What I want to know is why our (neighborhood) store manager keeps calling the customer experience manager "c.e.x.x."
