Nordstrom has treated 6k laid off employees so badly.
I was really looking forward to being one of the last people standing but now with the layoff I won't be able to experience that...

Please note especially pages 7 and 13. I have been making the point in this forum that as of this 10-Q, all of Nordstrom's cash-on-hand is borrowed, the $800MM from the revolving LOC and an additional $600MM from a special high-yield debt offering from this Spring. The company has little room now for error.
