Anyone hear anything about vision center, was told opening soon with new procedures and restrictions but someone just said they heard all were gonna be closing for good. I don’t know what to believe but I know I don’t like surprises.

Actually, Walmart is very committed to their health and wellness division and it's increasing its services, not decreasing. Our vision center reopened last month here in Omaha. Things aren't as in and out as before but safety precautions are a must now. They have taken classes and been trained on things we probably should have been doing all along. I don't foresee vision centers closing.
Theres not enough staff in these vision centers to pull off all the theatrics the market mgrs want the world to believe.extra cleaning screenings hippa certified 1 on 1 hands free dispensing fittings etc but no staff to do it all. Reality is they will close eventually because the staffs they do have will quit from having 100 things to do in 10 mins or less with no help.
Vision Centers are opening in phases. 2 test markets opened in Omaha & Lincoln NE June 1. A couple of weeks later, additional markets opened throughout Region 51. New protocols, processes and procedures to ensure associate and patient safety. Significant amount of time spent cleaning and sanitizing before and after each patient. Massive amount of PPE to be worn. All associates N95 certified. A bit of a challenge, but we are making it work. You will continue to see the roll out across the country. If you have questions I suggest you call a Vision Center in Omaha or Lincoln
vision / auto / pick up today will all be apart of the entire store with job codes / sign and complete a hippa agreement and your job will end soon. Vision centers don't contribute a darn thing to the store anyways when you can buy the same c-ap glasses online for a cheaper price. Get used to it like all of us did and find another job.
U will watch the vision centers slowly dicentigrate because they wont be able to turn the major losses around.with zinni warby parker and other on line glasses walmart vision centers arent relevant anymore walmart will save on payrolls and overhead if they close them all but yes no surprises let the cat outta the bag
