"Dyson got out of the vacuum business." dyson is a vacumm biz.. and they didnt get out of it .. they are only making cordless products now..
b—s—. We have zero hours for anything. We can't even f—ing staff one register per floor.
We have hand sanitizer every where.
We have plenty of masks and gloves for everyone.
Someone cleans all day, every day. We have gallons and gallons of the cleaning solution they use.
If your store isn't playing, you need to complain. Every store has the necessary supplies, and the hours for the cleaners.
We don't even have sanitizer for registers. It's pretty bad.
We were told to tell customers we are cleaning regularly. Nobody cleans. We do not have any supplies or manpower to do it.
Part of the reason Macy's is low on merchandise, is because Macy's cancelled receipts, orders, at the beginning of April when it was unclear when stores would open back again. At the beginning, everyone in shut down thought it would only last a couple weeks but that didn't happen. Once stores started opening, not every store opened, and they were being done in phases according to state. You have to remember that most receipts/ orders (logistics) are scheduled for all stores to receive around the same time; because of the pandemic, it makes it hard to do this. Also, production stopped just about every where over seas so no orders coming in. In addition, online orders have been high and it's depleting a lot of the stores of remaining inventory.
To my understanding, Dillard's and Belk did not cancel their orders so that may be the reason why they have more merchandise. However, that means they have a lot of summer inventory to get rid of.
I agree customers definitely looking for best deal possible
The stores are empty. We have pretty much nothing, with just paltry amounts coming in. Tons of racks are being pulled, and the store is beginning to look a lot like Sears did towards the end - lots of open space, very little merchandise. I would ask our dock people if they know when we are going to be getting stuff in, but they all got shown the door.
Down the hallway, at Dillards, they are fully stocked and doing well sales wise. We are getting nothing but people coming to look for clearance deals.
Can we stop here. Just because its not online right now doesn't mean its not coming back. Check back in a few weeks when whatever is left of the corp staff comes back.
Dyson vacuums and Vitamix are sold everywhere except the premier M, smh!
Vitamix products were expensive and M made no profit on their sales. Dyson got out of the vacuum business.
