The entire world for us Noble people is going to drastically change. People are going to be working for the boot shiners that have licked their way into important positions and have no knowledge of their jobs. I am glad I am near retirement age.... I might be able to keep from throwing up from the disgusting bad management for a year or so.

Former contractor here and I can second that comment on major projects. Best client I ever milked. ;)
The reality is O&G has a long history of pushing out experience and going younger. Going after the newer, younger, s-xier thing is a feature, not a modern bug.
There’s so much waste my senior management it’s sad. It’s not the worker bees it’s the management. This company should be gutted and rebuilt.
This is the “Noble Way”. If you want to thrive at Noble become the biggest a** kisser, s—up, boot licking pu**y that you can possibly be. You will hate yourself... but you will have a chance at keeping your job.

I agree. I am in a position where I am part of meetings that are discussing these very issues. People that have the art of orally getting their way will squirt to the top without the tools to handle the members of their new groups.
