For almost a decade I've worked at DQE and have had the pleasure of working with a lot of great people so thanks for the memories.
Even though I know DQE weren't always good at looking after their employees, I stuck with them knowing I was just a random, I could accept that, not an issue.
But is it true that agency and contractors aren't affected, they can keep their contract going even if DQE are laying off staff who could do their roles? This is a wind up, isn't it? Surely!
Most of the keyboard warriors knew what was coming and couldn't care less. All we want is our redundancy and to get out that sh– hole. The fact that HR can't respond just now because they are so busy dealing with voluntary redundancy requests tells you exactly what employees in Aberdeen think of DQ.
Can’t help wondering how many of the machine shop keyboard warriors are now desperately s—ing c—. Some of the comments, lately I couldn’t believe they didn’t see what was coming.
The question that we should be asking is why we were dependant on Sealion and Sealion alone. This project has been delayed/suspended many times in the past yet we believed that this time it was going ahead???? If DQE is to become an aftermarket and CP service centre then let’s show the Yanks how it’s done and become the best fxxxing aftermarket and CP service centre there is.
Houston machine shop will never be done, they will always protect themselves and sacrifice DQE & DQ Asia. This is clear by all the work what is being taken back, just hope guys the top guys sort there act out. DQE were given COE of subsea for a reason, there were good at what they did.
The machine shop is done. Someone took a dumb on the golf cart and crashed it into the tool crib.
Is that the same c-appy rumour website that you have taken time out of your life to visit?
Who knew The latest remake of Lord of the Flies would be set in some c-appy rumour website and feature a machine shop in Aberdeen.
Dry your eyes "Big Borer". All your weeks of changing how you wear your hat and bum sniffing got you nowhere. Now that your bum hole has just been bored at least you will have plenty of time to make fish pie.
"It is against the law to make a person redundant, then replace his position with another person, fact"
Yip, they've f—ed up with that in the past and paid the price.
Good luck to you all apart from my back stabbing college's, some of you are an absolute embarrassment, and you know who you are, just because you're on furlough don't think we don't know.
Yeah no need for the wonder boys now . We all just numbers guys, all the bum sniffing got you nowhere .
Wait and see

2/3 of m/c shop, definatley one shift then. How many chargehands, supervisors do they need to run that...? Good luck guys.
Will be like forge and control. So far, there is only 1% employees at control get offered from Proserv. Rest of them get package.
Can machine shop get any worse ?
2/3 of machine shop, so if you thought the infighting was bad on here before I think it’s away to get worse
