I am in the south were the amount of confirmed cases have been increasing daily drastically. Way more than when we were closed. Masks...is the solution along with social distance.
But so many customers entering the store have not been wearing them. And now for BBB to increase the hours is disappointing , even if it's an hour . More time to become affected, then it's a 14 day quarantine. We don't have the hours , the people ...to replace any quarantined associates.

The real question is why is BBB ALLOWING anyone to shop without a mask? $10 sale is more important than my health as an associate.

Why are those of you with more knowledge than Fauci in how to slow the spread and save lives, wasting your time working for BBB?
Just give it another week and all the people that protested numbers will come flying in. Let the fear begin.

Too bad so many of the "young" people who are getting it didn't think to wear a mask or social distance while they were protesting. Yep, you're going to be mad that I said it, but it's the truth. There is no way you have that many people that close together screaming and not passing the virus around.
Yes!! I have seen many customers not wearing masks. Nonchalantly walking in like nothing as if the virus never happened Or the ones that half wear a mask walking around shopping And the ones that have a mask that wear one on their chin while checking out...Makes me nervous... We as employees take the time to have our temperature checked, wear a mask and gloves Try to keep social distance from everyone which I see isn’t working. Some customers are being lazy and some are not. Thank you for the ones not being lazy and do wear a mask. Yes the mask is for prevention, safety and overall health. I value my own health as I take these precautions.
Just think you stand in line at any store and there is a kid with a snotty nose and coughing don’t you step away or say to yourself ick, goodness Keep away from me I don’t want what that kid has
Same with this virus but the difference is it is silent you don’t know if you caught the virus because it takes longer than the average 5 to 6 days as the common cold would
So to the person or persons that won’t and refuse to wear a mask this is not against the constitution, This is Your own health and the health of others. The health of your loved ones, The health of your friends And the HEALTH of EVERYONE
Just Wear the MASK!!!
Wear your mask when you are indoors, wash your hands often or use hand sanitizer, don't touch your face. Wear gloves when you are pumping gas. Eat a healthy diet, get regular exercise. Make sure you get plenty of rest. Those are things that YOU can do to protect yourself. The virus is either going to die off naturally or weaken/mutate into something else. Don't count on there being a vaccine. We are all going to have to figure out how to keep living our lives in a safe and productive manner as possible. Just don't continue thinking that we are all going to stay locked up in our homes.
When is everyone going to stop whining about this? The virus isn't going anywhere. If you dont catch it at work you'll catch it getting groceries or from family or somewhere else. bbb doesnt have to be your scapegoat. If they told us to enforce the mask rule we would all be complaining about people being rude about wearing masks. There is no winning in this situation. To the car question, I can add on to that. Knowing the rate of death in car accidents, do you still get in your car and drive? Yes. The world cant just shut down because we are afraid of getting sick and dying. Sorry to sound bleck but we all die eventually, stop trying to live your life hidden away from danger.
Do you you wear a seat belt even though you can still die in a car accident? Yes, because it's some sort of protection just like masks. It's something. And if masked didn't hell, the medical profession wouldn't have been wearing masks before covid.
Masks solve nothing. Do some real research and quit blindly believing what you're told. If masks prevent the spread of disease, why are there studies showing that using regular cloth masks actually more than doubled the rate of infection in healthcare workers? It amazes me how many people insist on wearing a mask without researching actual studies that have been published about how they work in a controlled setting, like a hospital, where they are regularly changed. If you want to wear one, I don't care. But I actually read scientific studies indicating they increase the risk of infection as they are generally touched when worn all day.

And really, you needed to stay open an extra hour BBB, think of your employees.
