Thread regarding Macy's Inc. layoffs

If there is a 2nd wave

If there is a 2nd wave of virus. I think Macy’s will go under completely. Plus I read there might be another Assessment before the fourth quarter starts.

There won't be a second wave. We'll never escape the first wave. Herald Square to the highest bidder.

If you can't produce where you "read" about another assessment, then I'm calling your bluff. Anyone who really saw this would gleefully be posting a link to it, or a copy/paste with reference. So 👎

True associates remaining will be layoff on February after inventory. Fourth quarter sales numbers will not be good.

Wave or no wave, our fiscal year ends in January and so will many of our jobs. Jeff is keeping those who survived this round of cuts only to work us to the bone during the Christmas season and then lay us off in February.

The second wave of coronavirus will be in the fall and winter. Macy's most likely will do another round of layoffs this year. To many states have huge numbers of positive cases of coronavirus. People won't shop this fall and winter, fourth quarter numbers will be devastated. Hopefully Macy's won't open on Thanksgiving day or Black Friday. There's going to be a lot of people sick ethier with the flu or covid-19. The holidays won't be the same anymore. For those associates that are still with the company be safe and careful.
