Macy’s is cutting 4K jobs and it’s everywhere on the news. I checked their lay-off site and it’s a blood bath. How come Nordstrom cuts haven’t been announced publicly ? Isn’t that weird ?
I wish the public would know what is really going on with Nordstrom. The public knows about our furloughs but not the job cuts. I personally didn’t see a public release about the cuts.

Nordstrom is shady and somehow avoids negative press. I was a 15+ year employee who left nearly 4 years ago. It was bad then compared to how it used to be. I’m sorry for all of those that have had to endure this terrible situation. Nordstrom stresses they care about their people but haven’t for a long time. Good luck to you all.
In Nordy HR hasn’t told the C-class id–ts that people have been let go. So no press release. Top management thinks people are WFH. Nordy rolls like that.
