Does anyone have any GOOD info on what is happening with the stores tomorrow? Not looking for what is happening at corporate, but store-level positions only, please? What percentage are being let go, reorganization, severance packages, etc.?
Most people who read this page are store employees desperate as hell for any sort of info about their futures.
What is going to happen with the Coordinator positions
Executive Team will have their 1 on 1's with the store manager. By the aftrnoon, Email will be sent out on regards to store structure /titles/ positions. Wishing everyone the best.
In our store 703 there's no supervisors any more, ever since the store open there new role is sales captain. All the management staff are back but waiting what's going to happen. We are not making sales figures and the store is remodeling for a Macy's backstage this year.
This is crazy. We are running on bare minimum staffing, we close 2-3 departments (no open registers, no one to assist) and have every person working on the register and ONE person with the cleaning shift. We have all PL acting as regular sales floor staff. NO ONE to put back out the clothing (up to 26 rails) no one to recover, no one to put out new stock.. I don't know how we could possibly do anything with any less staffing.

There’s more to this company than just the stores jobs. The support functions (MLO, MCCS, Corporate Office, HRBP’s, etc...) are just as vital to this company as the stores.
We’re laying off about 25%. The supervisors are no more. We don’t know how the store is even going to run at this point.
