Haven't heard anything from management of when salaries will go back to normal or new austerity measures. Anyone have any rumors?

Read the site rules, must be something that you wrote that triggered a review and deletion.
Could be one of these things:
- posting names or other personal info
- foul language, insults, racism and hate speach (derogatory language towards groups or individuals)
They also don’t allow discussing politics and religion.

When picking a part design I pick the part that has the best performance for my race car. I don’t pick the part based on its color or it’s orientation (on the UG screen). Picking the wrong part could be a disaster and cause a system to fail or even my whole car to break down. Then the competitors pass me as I’m stuck on the track and I fall behind and then lose the race. I for sure don’t pick a part design to try to correct some mistake made in a race I had way back in the past. I hope someone understands.
Bet these supposed leaders still regret their Covid rich open floor remodels. Glad I’m done with that. Paid greatly to work from home.
These people weren’t intelligent enough see the potential problem with open floor plans.
I heard after July shutdown and even that was vague.
I also heard they are going to re- open Pontiacs Powertrain buildings next year.
Also the cube walls will be going back up.

Absolute ghost town at Warren Tech Center. Most buildings have no activity or people.
I work at a large supplier for GM and I hear rumors that GM’s sales earnings are increasingly negative and they will not be able to fund future development at the rate their profits dwindling. My company will have to look for other markets.

Was it really a pay cut though, I thought we are going to get all that money back with compound interest sometime next year.
GM is solid. Everyone will be getting a +15% pay raise next year, therefore effective paycut will be only 5% . Employees will be happy for the generous raise and work harder to please management
Well they just laid off 3rd shift at Spring Hill plant (which only restarted 4 or 5 years ago). 680 positions eliminated w/o notice
I believe the salary cuts are actually permanent even though management said it is only temporary. Management will avoid the issue by not bringing it up. Sales keep dropping to the point where even newly launched vehicles need incentives. Everything is being sold at a loss and there is not enough money to fund the new vehicles that need a lot of investment. This is a collapsing situation.
