This is incorrect, the Citi contract with Macy's was extended in 2015 for a term of 10 years through 2025.

Not surprised, although M makes a nice amount of $ servicing the accounts for Citi. Unfortunately long overdue on this move.
Rumors circulating that all credit functions will be sent to Citibank over the course of the next 6-12 months. The deal with Citibank is about to expire and Macy’s will hand off the servicing to them.
