Why did they call back workers from the Backstage warehouse if there was no work? They seriously just screwed us all out of our unemployment only to VTO us! What a joke!!!

Well when I claimed it on my unemployment it got denied and I dont know why. I cant get through to the unemployment office to talk to anyone. I wish they would have left me on furlough if they didn't have enough work to keep me busy for 24 hours a week. I'm only part time they should have called the full time people back first anyway.
Can you still claim unemployment if its VTO? Macy's hasn't actually cut your hours they are just giving you the option to leave early because they don't have much work.
Yea except when they bring you back at 30 hours and you make $50 than unemployment.
In my state, hours have to be dramatically reduced. Typically 12 hours or less a week (depending on pay). How does one provide for their family on less than 12 hours?!
I think as long as your earnings are not more than what your weekly benefit amount is (minus the extra 600) you would still be eligible to claim unemployment.
You can still get Unemployment if your hours are reduced..look it up.
