Does anyone know what is going to happen to the HLE locations that are “temporarily” closed currently? Do we think they are going to try to open back up? Permanently close? Thoughts?

Hopefully all HLE goes away. You get a bonus on how much you don't loose. HLE, shady, corrupt, scammers. OMG

HLE cannot survive on insurance replacement revenue alone. Low RPD cannot support the expenses. Retail is needed to contribute to a higher RPD. Sorry HLE is done. Estero already planning to sell off.
HLE do have place but see two things
- They shut down retail part. It basically by appt only.
- Any retail at local loc is own by franchises.
In the last 5 years HLE in the west has been run into the ground. Starting with a RVP who lacked the leadership and business sense to run a team. The leaders we trusted and would do anything for left. The ones that remained were more interested in extracurricular activities than running business. Sitting here now I see the revolving door of faces coming through. All the same self centered and clueless people. Its a shame to see how well we did when we had great people here. Now I sit and wait to see what happens next,
All HLE locations that have not shown a positive adjusted pretax in the last 12 months will be closed. They have already eliminated the AM role and have the GM's running the locations. That tells you expect more reductions in locations. Just like they broke off HERC to be its own business I see them breaking off HLE then trying to sell to Avis who has a very weak off airport presence. HLE's time has come its over. For Hertz to get out of chapter 11 it has tp focus on its core business that they are known for and that's the AP business. ERAC is jumping up and down knowing that annoying HLE will soon be gone.
HLEs imho if they are underperforming have feeling they are toast.
