It is affecting all divisions in the US as far as I know. I am part of the Software group and some colleagues are affected

Major GTS restructure. Exit on 22-Jun, 90 days lump sum, 12 months healthcare at employee rate, can pursue internal roles, if your a masochist. Been here 2 years, wish I had a time machine.
I would think the VP had an employment contract thus he could leave at anytime if IBM asked him to exit. The U.K. and Europe are governed via union contract rules, so the restructuring may take a little longer. The asking for volunteers Via an open window and getting a smaller response than IBM wanted was a very large tell, that Europe is certainly in play. With IBM closing the window, says IBM has something in mind

My manager has meetings all day at the top of every hour on his calendar. Mine is first. “Special meeting with Blah and Blah”. Looks like about 8 people.
