Hertz Denver International Airport laid off all employees that was on furlough today.

Was that just the hourly employees? Was management canned there too?
Additional layoffs coming is the word from the zone office. Senior managers hiding and will not step foot at the AP. Its comedy watching them dance around the chaos. They are all scared for their jobs now too as word has spread about ZVP's being let go in the east.
ZVP is an id–t! Clueless to the operations.
Extremely sad but no surprise. I know most of the now laid off DIA folks. Sharp people who had an average of 20+ years of dedicated service and did their job well. The brutality of these layoffs is incomprehensible despite the company's dire financial state. It's terrible the way these people are being treated and it will be a tough road in the near term for them, but they will be better off in the long run. And to think this is going on nationwide is absolutely abhorrent. I will keep all terminated employees in my prayers.
