General Motors Co's top executive on Friday said layoffs announced a day earlier at the company's self-driving Cruise unit were "prudent" but insisted that she sees a "huge opportunity" for its vehicles to move both people and packages.

Don't trust Mary Barra...she'll lie to protect GM's image and to prevent GM's own engineer's concerns that they might also be laid off. 40% of the Cruise layoffs were engineers, not HR/Admin as she originally stated.

Saw the article in Bloomberg where they stated that 40% of the layoffs at the newly acquired firm Cruise were engineers. The globalist Barra is following her typical MO and is exporting the engineering jobs overseas. Probably bought the firm just to give it's technology to her Chinese overlords.

When Iococa was CEO of Chrysler during bankruptcy he didn't get a paycheck. Not the case for Mary Barra. She's sticking it to the man. C'mon lady..
