So my store has the store manager, ops manager, receiving full timer And then 3 part timers called back to work starting Friday...is this what most stores are doing??

I am a FT associate, not a lead, and they are paying my health insurance. If they are going to continue paying insurance for me, why wouldn't I be the first one called before part-timers? Seems like letting me stay at home when my hourly wage is basically the same ( I get $0.20 more than min wage) but still pay my insurance, then it makes more sense to bring me in before a part-timer.

CTS here (CTS board seems dead). Opening Friday. We couldn't get any extra help over the holiday season. I honestly don't see many people going back, especially since, locally, other retailers are offering extra money right now. Managers running registers and rocking trucks because there was no one else to do it. Morale very low.

im a PT person and if they think they r gonna bring me back and work me like a dog like before we closed and try to give me FT hours without benefits better pay they r crazy , i knew they would bring back the PT first so the FT can sit on their a– and collect decent pay ( which they already do if they work) while the PT ppl go back and dont even earn 200 a week SMFH

Part timers are easy to keep/don’t have to keep 35+ hrs on the books/don’t have to offer benefits/will be willing to work more hrs then 16 or 20 offered/can be moved around the store easily no set position

I am full time reciever and haven't been called back but have seen part timers cars there. Not ready to freak out just yet on losing my job, hoping it's due to limited hours.

CTS here and we are opening this week. They brought in SM and all supervisors last week and probably 15 part timers this week. They are also trying to implement curbside pick up without having an online store. Should be interesting.
