I've worked every day throughout this event, and now I'm off for last 2 weeks of April. Even with store doing record sales, short staffed. I magically reappear on schedule the week of May 2 with almost 40 hrs again. Wtf?

Ask for more hours. It’s what I did. It may take several attempts but if you are persistent you will get results. I spoke to the store SSA and she said it was not her job to give me more hours, she didn’t have the authority. Dept supervisor said they can’t either. Eventually I found an ASM that would add more hours. If your store is like mine they always need cashiers. Mostly what I do is pull Internet orders and work in my department.
The schedule is dependent on many factors. First off, its a very poorly designed and thought out program. Second, it takes the entire management team (and we know how understaffed and stretched they are) to make sure its accurate with constant oversight and managing.
Anyone expecting the schedule to be accurate is not paying attention.
I stopped getting a schedule every am a year ago when it was a daily occurrence that fake names were on it, wrong names, etc. Its inaccurate, and nonsensical. It is NOT a tool for optimization of efficiency.
Take photos every day, circle what is wrong, and send off to proper chain of management going all the way to Marvin until its fixed. If after all that, get a lawyer. But flapping on this forum does you or anyone any good.

JFC it takes nothing to provoke the ire of the people here. If you have schedule questions, asking a manager is apparently a yikesy hot take or something.
That's a joke... 99.9% of management including corporate does not have a clue what's going on 99.9% of the tine
Kronos App does not work on my phone, never has.
At my store schedules are changed on a daily basis without notice, we’re told to “use the Kronos app we don’t have to call you.”
