Does anyone have any insights into the inevitable reorg that will happen in H2?

I can't believe anyone is asking this question and thinking they will get anything other than a WAG (wild a– guess). No one, no one, here on this forum knows what is going to happen regarding layoffs. This is all wild speculation, made up rumors, and the like.
Obviously, the OP is just trying to stoke this process. You will know when there are layoffs when it is reported it on the Watching IBM page, or when your actual human co-workers tell you the news.
This site, unfortunately, is just made up of bored rumor mongers, making stuff up to keep themselves busy. Even more unfortunate, I seem to be one of them ;-)
For several months there were few GTS NA jobs and hundreds of open slots in GBS. In the last 30-60 days, that has shifted to the opposite. Any idea what’s happening?
Deep GTS layoffs seemed inevitable but now....
From AK's email on 1Q results:
"GTS and C&CS could have performed better, given that their offerings have attractiveness in the market."
GTS is squarely in the crosshairs.
Look to the recent earnings report as a guide. GTS continues to slide but GBS remains flat. So GBS has avoided scrutiny. There’s tons of bloat in GBS which, if gotten rid of, would give the business higher margins even with flat earnings. Unfortunately there is still even more bloat in GTS that needs trimming.
@bbq GBS has been pure bloat for IBM for years, commodity labor. I agree with your assessment, but many are hinting that GTS will suffer and not GBS, that seems to have been the speculation for a while around here.
GTS NA is hiring, GBS seems to be the sinking ship here.
Nothing but speculation at this point. Most people who post here just make sh– up.
IBM new CEO mentioned in a meeting the ATT Tech Dev employees now GTS that were outsourced with a one year contract with IBM which will end 09/01/2020. Upper Management could request a 1 year extension on our contract and if the contract is granted we will have jobs for another year.
Massive cuts in GTS coming for sure.
