Especially the operations groups who didn’t lose anyone during the last lay-off?

Ops did lose ppl. A number of Geos that were in BU’s and Reservoir Engineers. I also think a Prod Eng in Rockies, maybe another one. Some of the BU’s were also already spread thin before this. VP’s have purposely not backfilled when engineers leave or rotate out so they wouldn’t have to lose ppl in layoffs
There's going to be a reduction in the company...off the face of the earth
shareholder meeting will be virtual not because of coronavirus but b/c they don't have enough money to hire the level of security needed. feel free to send in your questions which will be ignored. expect analysts from banks no one knows about to ask questions handed to them by management.
vote out the entire board of directors
We are not worthless. Most of us are worth more than two million dollars from working for this company.
This company has been bloated with too much leadership and too many employees for a long time. I don’t see any major events changing that anytime soon. It will likely continue to be this way to the end... unless a new man(or woman) takes the CEO spot, but don’t hold your breath.
There is no agent of change in this company, only many agents of keeping things the same for as long as possible to protect their pay and position. The CEO doesn’t even say anything between earnings releases. Keeping quiet and reducing dialogue to a minimum is not leadership. He’s a puppet.
Nobody has any blls. No gusto. Nobody has the right level of fck it to actually get some sh*t done. Every action is about image, perception and CYA.
Someone with some vision needs to come in and axe half of you worthless pukes and run a lean, mean machine. But that won’t happen.
Your jobs are doomed, but likely safe for now.
We need to keep our 10 lawyers per rig for when we do FU
We need to keep our 20 geologist and 10 managers per rig so we don’t FU.
Need to lay off managers and VP’s. No need to have a manager for every two engineers and a VP for every three managers. Totally ridiculous and doesn’t make sense unless all managers and VP’s are Texas Aggies
