Are we honestly expected to just act like nothing happened? A little ridiculous that so many layoffs occurred in my department last week and we haven’t received a single email or meeting invite to address the issue

Rewarded with less pay and worse benefits? I'd say only do that if the stress is eating you inside.
When I went out and started interviewing for jobs, I gave full disclosure to my manager, “I’m interviewing for other job today”. If the world ever opens for business again, as your manager, I give you permission to go get a job anywhere else but where you are. And yes, I accepted less money and worse benefits package, but there is peace. I truly love and care you people and encourage you to have enough faith to make the sacrifices as soon as you can. You will be rewarded.
That's the ViacomCBS way!!! No transparency at all, just constant guessing games. They've been f—ing with us since December. This is the most opaque company I've ever worked for.
Our department addressed the issue a couple hours after the layoffs. Didn’t assure us that there would be no more. Just said they have no idea what’s next. Bs.
Because it’s not over...
