Pay reduction with unemployment

Has anyone filed for pay reduction unemployment in DFW? I just filed today but not sure how much to expect back since it’s pretty vague via the website.

How'd it go, did you collect? Just curious.

Isn't the duration of UE benefit set to a maximum number of weeks? I assumed using it for pay reduction would be a waste since I will probably end up needing it for the layoff.

Everything is vague on the twc site. I'm told first hand that appeal can work. Fwiw.

Doesn't really help at this point, and don't want to seem mean, but if the marginal paycut is k–ling you, maybe you should have taken the sev offer. Pay not likely to go back to 'normal' and layoff is likely anyway.

Someone in another thread commented that this sort of claim counts against a future actual unemployment claim. You may want to check into that prior to burning comp weeks.
