Thread regarding Best Buy layoffs

This paralysis needs to end

I was furloughed from bestbuy last week, great company too.

Basically paid me 1 months salary to stay home with my kids.

This paralysis needs to end...

@8pjc; Well, nearly 180,000 deaths (almost certainly undercounted, given how many states have mysteriously experienced 400%+ increased "pneumonia" deaths that they don't count as COVID-19) later, your post has aged well.

No cares about your grocery store tattle tailing , it's not going to matter in a few weeks when there's massive supply line shortages and there is no food on the shelves because the economy is closed over a virus that has a current death rate of 0.03% in California alone, but continue to be a hypercondriac and economic illiterate.

Have you been out? Went to grocery store. More than half the customers not wearing masks . Not staying 6 feet apart. There’s arrows on the floor to go in one direction. People not doing it.

Agreed, there are estimates that 30 million plus American's have had it within the last few months, while it is highly contagious the rate of mild symptoms or being Asymptomatic are very high, the odds of getting hospitalized are extremely low, we need to start weighing these odds, I'm much more concerned about rampant poverty at this point. If you want to stay at home than fine but the rest of us need to get on with life.

What would you suggest? Endangering your customers, coworkers and their friends and family?
