Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

Class action, Danford v. Lowe’s Companies, Inc.

Has any one received communication on the class action for Danford v. Lowe’s Companies, Inc.?

It states an arbitration was signed and you will need to fill out another document to proceed. I received an email and a letter from them.

This case is for unpaid time due to driving the building, text message apps I believe.

Check your email or mail.

A lot of the comments are false. This is a complex class action suit, and each class member is an individual and will be paid as required by their state labor laws, time worked during the stated period, hourly wage average, job responsibilities, job title, etc. It's a formula that is being calculated now & those affected will be properly compensated, including penalty wages as mandated by their respective states.

Too bad it won't be like the last time Llwes got sued about 10 years ago and those affected got thousands of tax free $$$. That's why they started the arbitration paperwork for people because they knew it would save them millions the next time they screwed people over and they knew there would be a next time.

Yeah the lawyers will get the majority but they will also charge Lowe's if they win it for the class action.

What they will pay will be a fraction of what they would have paid in wages if they paid us Correctly from the get go. Again Lowe’s wins we lose.

Lowe's will pay Millions to the Class Action Law Firm, but it's normal to get a small individual check.
