If you dont already know, you are probably not gonna get a chance at any of the items. If management perceives items to be valuable enough, they will get put into a group. Then they will make up a sealed bid auction online. You pretty much have to be in the know or know some management that is in the group to be a part of it. Also the auction time wont be announced. It may be next month or 2 years from now. Impossible to say for sure when they will do it. With the current situation they may even just throw it all in a sc-ap gondola. Tools and machines that they could sell for $1,000`s of dollars just look like a big insurance liability in their eyes.
Why does RLS have to wait till May. The employees have to find housing up north and jobs for their wives. Give them a couple of weeks with pay to get settled. Damn show some humanity NS.
Not a joke. Just facts 💯
Not a good time for jokes or stupid comments from any shop. Work is like the food chain of life, intelligence and strength survive the longest... Have a safe trip North.
Too funny! The words Juniata and repair don't go together. Perhaps the words Juniata and failures go together much better. I mean how do you put a truck in backwards on a test car? RLS always cleaning up the eff ups from that shop.
Send it to Juniata, the only shop doing heavy locomotive repair...
What’s the secret?
Ol Nate is gonna surprise ya ..... him and 3 others are holding out on a BIG SECRET !
NS won't give anything away, its against their nature to sell things cheap or give away things. They are the cheapest cheapskates you can imagine.
Most of it will be sc-apped. What has any value at all, which isn't much, will be sold or traded to Wabtec.
Maybe they should keep it. They sent 3 screw-ups from Juniata there last week.
