I noticed when in the force cancelling a vacation that SM's are still being paid. WTF? If any of them are like mine, sitting in office all day on phone. Is that really worth still paying while we work our asses off and get unemployment.

How many are going to “miss” the calls to come back since unemployment with the extra federal money is way more than most made normally?

The SM and district are still being paid Till the 18th because
- They are salary
- They have a lot of coordinating, reaching out to staff, ensuring payroll is correct, and are still having a lot if Conference calls to find out next steps, contingency plans for operations, future pay toll, how they will bring people back and creating what is basically a “kit” on starting back up. I don’t want their job so they can keep that pay till the 18th. Enough stress alone.
SM and above furlough starts on the 18th,
They have coordinating and getting things done until this is over and they will be the first people to get things rolling when allowed back. Like someone said earlier who cares, unemployment in my state is more than what we were making.
They are getting paid through the 18th.

That is true that SM are being paid ...even though everyone else in the store has been Furloughed. Also, by the way all district support staff that were Furloughed are also being PAID !
