Give your best, as many with recent layoff did, but look for alternatives before they remove you so it does not appear to you out of the blue. Telling from experience...

Don't let their lies lull you into a false sense of safety. You are next. Right now they are telling you how valued of an employee you are and how great your contributions are. A list is already made for the next phase of cuts and your name is on that list trust me
