Thread regarding Hertz layoffs

What is the severance?

I'm not among those furloughed or laid off yet, but that doesn't mean I will not be in the next few weeks. I wasn't that worried about the possibility when we were talking strictly about furloughs, but now that layoffs are also in play my stress levels have quadrupled.

So can somebody please tell me if there was any compensation, and kind of severance for those laid off permanently? Or did Hertz just use this as an opportunity to get rid of a bunch folks on the cheap?

I was parttime transporter. I was there 1.5 years, received $320. Gotta go now, got an appt with a yacht salesman!

Mantra was to keep their puppets at bad time and get rid of all who they can.
