The unions played a large part in the costly and gross inefficiencies that have s—ed this company dry over the years.
Hertz was a great company survived 100+ years, but have never shown loyalty to anyone not since Mark left.
Has any of the Exec lost there jobs, fat cats getting fatter Kathy gave up her base pay but has a guarantee bonus check SEC all info is in it she she walks with $1+m while people with 25 years service are laid off, cant see recovery this year for the industry so what’s next when’s the next round coming, but it still won’t touch the fat cats..
Hertz was destined for failure, with the high flying life of executives, posh car riding, ridiculous expenses, and new hirings even in February when the situation was dire. Feel for those new hires, who lost it in a month after rejecting other offers.
Hopefully they do the right thing in International also the leadership is lost and sinking the ship fast, inexperienced inadequate leadership with no clue what to do, I can’t imagine any scenario the business survives please help and send some of the experienced people for the US before it’s to late, no idea how to get out but then again has no idea period. People are loosing their jobs due to mismanagement and it all starts at Presidential level, someone tell her bows the time to get down from her throne and a title does not bring respect actions do, please action something soon.

I agree 100%. I've said from the beginning Bankruptcy is coming. A massive company like Hertz should have enough put back to last a couple months in a crisis. I got the call yesterday to change my employment status from Temporary Furlough to Permanent Layoff. So the company that I've served for years, worked nights, weekends, holidays, 60-70 hour weeks for is not only putting me out of a job, but taking away my health insurance for me and my family DURING A GLOBAL HEALTH PANDEMIC!!!!!! There is a very very low chance that I will go back if called. If there is a company to go back to... Oh and they told me to come get my tools immediately.
